where can i get my dogs id card made as i want to take her to my home country???? pls help urgent
i want to take my dog along wid me when i go for vacation this time......but her id card isnt made yet...or rather the people whom we bought her from have misplaced it......so can anyone pls tell me from where i can get it made as someone told me that it was necessary for takng her along..also r there any other formalities ....and any precautions while moving..pls do help....

Also, some countries require rabies vaccination to be at least 3 months ago.
It's not a problem unless you are travelling to Uk or Australia with the exception of a few small islands.
For EU you need Rabies serology blood test and vaccination card with EU Animal Transport Form and Qatar Export Licence.
For US, Qatar Export Licence, vaccination card depending where you are going.
Far East, Vaccinations inc Rabies and Export Licence.
Contact one of the pet relocators for advice and Export Licence and don't worry, it's not a problem to take out or bring dogs in as long as they have had all their vaccinations. Remember that to enter Qatar, the dog should have been vaccinated against Rabes min of 3 months before entering nd you need to organise an Import Licence regardless of how long you go for. I worked in this area for 18 months and never had a problem as long as papers were done. Consider using a meet and greet service to save you having to deal with Customs alone when returning. well, it all depends where you're traveling... If Europe then you need:
1. microchip
2. blood test done at a certified lab - in Europe as Qatar has no such lab, costs ca. 500 $
3. all vaccinations and stuff documented in your pet's passport.
Btw, if you travel only for a short time vacation it's better to leave your pet at home, traveling is usually a huge stress for animals...
