These where the 1st 90 Europeans minutes between Arsenal and Manchester ever.

Manchester goes to Emirates next week with a advantage of 1 home goal.

The way the Game went and the way it was expected to be at Old Trafford - Arsenal where lucky for tht score.

1st half was Dominated By MANU. Goal coming form O'Shea on 17th minute... (on his 20th Birthday :) )
2nd half - Ronaldo hit the crossbar as hard as when he had scored against Porto at trafford.. could have been replica goal.
Giggs showed his magic in his 800th appearance but the Off side flag raised denied him the goal.
Adebayor was about to replicate the Villareal style Goal (A shoulder and then shoot) but was off target.
Bendtner missed a good chance to head ball into the net.. on free kick taken by Cesc Fabregas 4.

But the pundits say it is a Good Score for Arsenal.

David O’Leary & Steve Bould ..... (you are asking me about times when I was jus born.. niways.. thk god could go through the history in a Book- "The Arsenal")

O'Leary is still remembered for long legs and elegance... Still remembered as SPIDER....

Tony Adams - might have been the 1st young captain for Arsenal he was given the captains badge at the age of 22, for his intelligence and shouting on the field.

Then the next best thing to happen was Midfielder Patrick Veira -(french.. obvious) strong but a calm fellow... leading with example... The double in 97-98 was under him? Not sure about tht though.....

The present defense is not as strong as it was under these guyz but Gallas along with Gael Clichy, Toure, silverstre doin great Job...

Clichy is rated to be the best Left back in present football world....

Giving Evra run for his money in the national Side of france

Thks to him... the Gooners where happy to loose A.Cole to Chelsea.. poor fellow who now is the most hated player in EPL....

I knew Man U would win...

Man U did not play at full potential because they lead and wanted to maintain..but if Arsenal scored first, Man U would equalise and lead..

I think thier secret is Sir Alex and Man U will weaken once he leaves. Other clubs have better players but not harmonised.

This team is amazing really since 1997 and I am confident they are the Champions of 27 May 09.

O'Shea is 28 TODAY!

Why go to Ramada when I have a smoke free room at home with an 84" projection screen and cheap beer :o)

Duncheski - gotta agree with you there. Our porblem may be a lack of Rio though :o(

That was one awsome display by ManU. They would've hammered Arsenal if not for Almunia's excellent form! just one note though, O'Shea is not 20 years old!!!He's 27!!

I agree. the scoreline didn't do them justice.. I really hope that they don't live to regret it next week..

Arsenal should create some magic at Emirates...

Expect a Villareal return...

After 1 - 1 at their ground... ades goal was a exceptional one...

It was 3 - 0 at Emirates then.....

Being a Gooner... being optimistic is my right.... :)

If we don support our team in such times who will????

Hope the idiots do something better next week....
