Money talks... and talks tough...

Anything is possible...

The Domestic Cricket League in India IPL... when asked for security for the international palyers for the matches.. was strictly refused by the govt. as it was clashing with Elections..

It was expected the IPL would be postponed..

But BCCI (Cricket Board in India) when it claims to be richest n most powerful in the world.. they prove it too..

They took the League to South Africa...

Matches are played there.. and guess what... totally against the expectation of the Pundits... 90% of tickets sold in advance for all matches..

10% can be easily sold on match day..

It was to be taken to England 1st..

But I think it is Rainy season out there.. tht is wht was told.... Cost could be prime factor af course...

Is Wales a country?

If Rangers/Celtic want to be included in the English League system they can start at the bottom of the Pyramid.....no not league 2, but the Unibond/Ryman leagues!!!!

It will never happen because:

1. cost of travelling for rangers/celtic fans

2. uefa will not agree.

3. the teams in premier league will not agree.

4. the teams in the english football league will not agree.

5. rangers/celtic would not be able to qualify for europe even if they won the premier league.

Because the league wants to keep to the 20 club premiership...

Yes that's another option..

The main stumbling blocks are UEFA and Money.. UEFA for some reason won't allow "inter country" league, but turn a blind eye to Welsh club playing in England :)

The other stumbling block is money.. If they're allowed into the premiership, then, the league would have to stop relegation / promotion for a season...

Tallg... I thought Celtic n Ranger Fans would be opposing it... as jus in case they make it into EPL....

They do not see CL for ages to come... the big 4 are really big.. and the other teams like Everton, Aston Villa, and now with Vulgar money even MAN City... are the prospective contenders for CL from England....

And a hope tht one day A club with glorious history as New Castle shall make a heroic return...

If they are coming for commercial gains...??? as it would rush in good sponsors n marketing...

I thought they were touting a "2-tier" Premiership to include them. Sounds sh!te to me.

Apparently , negotiations are ongoing.. The issue is whther they should be allowed to come straight into the premiership or must join the championship first..

what a game, could not sleep after the game for hours because of all the adrenalin, would have loved to see the score freeze at 3-4 but still.......but now i dread the day when we play against the gunners...its going to be one hell of a game...

and britexpat, is it confirmed that rangers and celtic would join the EPL ?, i read somewhere a while back that it was being proposed but i never saw the article saying it will happen

The Premier League ... Is there anything better ?

Can't wait for Celtic and Rangers to join up ... It'll be good to see them fighting it out with the likes of Portsmouth, Hull and Newcastle...

"I really don't know how much can this result help MANU..."

wtf??? Do you not understand how football works???

The team with the most points at the end of the season wins the league. Liverpool only got 1 point last night instead of 3, so they dropped points in the title race. United can now go 6 points clear with only 5 games left once they've played their games in hand.

"I really don't know how much can this result help MANU"

Really!?!?!?!

We play Portsmouth tonight with virtually all the first string players having had a week off!

We are now 2 points behind with 2 games in hand!

Match was awesome..

As a Gooner... wish the score had freezed at Liv 3 - 4 Ars

Tht too 4th was a 90 Min goal from Arshavin... then came the Equalizer from mercyside in penultimate minute...

Imagine jus before the wistle Fabregas had netted one more... 4 - 5.. but the Lad was off-side...

Arshavin Proving Why he was worth the Buy...

Thx to persistence of Ivan Gazidis (CEO)... he is an Gunner today...

we need experience badly..

I really don't know how much can this result help MANU...

HOw was there match with Portsmouth???

So I just sat down to watch the re-run on TV. Avoided checking my usual news and sports websites so I didn't find out the score. Figured there'd be no problem checking QL while I watched the match though. But low and behold, what's at the top of the Recent Posts page - Liverpool 4 : 4 Arsenal!!!

Oh well, sounds like it's worth watching. And a good result for Utd at least.

It all sounds very painful :)

Followed it on the website.. Couldn't believe that Arshavin could score 1 let alone 4.

The Pool are top now, but United have games in hand..
