nokia5800 secondary camera

... which kinda sucks cos my N73 can use the secondary camera anytime ... usually when it's in my pocket without the keys locked!

People who have not used Nokia 5800 may think the question to be coming from a kid who does not know how to use the product she bought but...

The secondary camera could not be used (except in video calls) in the original firmware that came with the phone(hence it has no mention in the phone manual), however, after much criticism Nokia added the function to use the secondary camera with later firmware upgrades.

Chen, what firmware you have on your phone? Install Nokia Software updater (http://mea.nokia.com/get-support-and-software-en/download-software/device-software-update/download), connect the phone with USB cable and update to latest firmware i.e to firmware version V 20.0.012 to enable the use of the secondary cam.

You might want to try:

Camera - Options - Use Secondary Camera

But I cant understand why you would want to use other than Video Call.

the secondary cam is for very very VERY private use so becareful you dont click snap and send.
