Wii or PS3

Hello all,

I took the decision to get a gaming machine, and now facing the eternal confusion, should I have Wii or PS3.

My main target is to have some fun with my family which is just me, my wife and our 4 months baby, specially Doha is a bit boring. Sometimes I will need to play games like racing or fighting games.

I had tried the Metal Gear Solid 4 on PS3 with huge LCD and home theater and it was really amazing.

So what do you recommend considering:

- The games prices.
- The games availability (Here in Doha).
- The joy you feel when you play with your parties or alone.

Wii and PS3 are totally different consoles.

Wii is for having a laugh and for parties and stuff. Good for kids too.

PS3 is a more 'serious' console with cutting edge technology.

You can't really compare the two. It totally depends on what you're after.
