I would like to ask if anyone knows how to check our usage on the mobile ADSL broadband with Qtel, i tried to call 111 twice, once i stayed 20 minutes waiting second time it reached 48 minutes and no one attends the call!
second does anyone knows what HSDPA is their 3G?
Thanks a lot
I think you can check it in your eqtel. If you mean speed by the 2nd part, on 3.5G proper setting and network strength the qtel network speed is rated at 2mbps. when i check with speedtest.net with doha server i get max till 1.6mbps downlink speed
Well, broad band ADSL appears to me unlimited and not chargeable to Customers by usage-wise., however, for some other purpose if you still need the details, they are available with the Credit & Collection Department in Q-Tel Al-saad. Regretfully to say that you were hanging on 20 minutes then 48 minutes after dialing 111, is indeed due to unexpected technical problems that caused an access to their system by their staff members might have interrupted to answer all quireis during the time of your attempt., Normaly it would not happen becuse they have very world-class standard customer care unit operating in Q-tel as far as I understand from my experience is concerned and they are always keen to enhance customer dealing to the best satisfaction of people of Qatar as part of their vision to be one of the Top Twenty Telecom Companies in the world in 2002.
ussually mobile broadband ( not adsl ) support for HSDPA ( high speed downlink packet access ). if in your area doesnt covered with HSDPA ( 3,5 G ), your mobile broadband will use 3G network, if not applicable then EDGE then GPRS.
