I've rented an old house 3 years before from a second party and partitioned it for 4 other parties..among them only one party were bachelors...other three parties were families including us.
In the last week of January 2009,I've given notice period for all the parties inorder to vacate the house, since I was in need to handover the keys to my secondparty for the settlements. All the families including us could find the new accomomdation and we all vacated from the old villa.. Now these stupid bachelors have put me into trouble that they are telling that they cannot vacate from there..not even giving me the February rent also..

I want to settle my agreement and now I am in trouble since I know what I've done[made partition] is illegal.

Anybody have any solution...would be grateful..I don't want to fight with anybody.. Just was a peaceful settlement..

Thanks for all the answers here... Though most of you are mistaken... We are also among the people who hate real estate business as everybody.. 4 years before we came here and searched for an accomodation for an affordable rent... for around 2 whole months.. Just got fed up by searching.. As I know the same situation I faced in Dubai also...

Finally I decided to rent a house.. In order to reduce my rent I included few families also in order to share ..that's all... That time the rent I was giving for the whole house[Too old house] QR.6000/-..After one year it was incresed again by my landlord upto 7000/-

But this time.. I was putting money from my pocket!!!!!

You people may not believe.. Frankly speaking..I didn't earn any benefits from it..Instead I could live with my family in a one BHK for 2000/- QR that's all..

Anyhow..God's seeing everything..and He will get me the answer..Because He alone has Justice..and He alone know the truth..

Once again thanx for all........

Are you planning to lease the house to someone for higher rent? If you are really planning to vacate and give the house key to the second party send your family home for some time or move them to another house, remove the partitions and disconnect the water and electricity. The bachelors will be compelled to vacate.

Remove the partitions you illegally installed so that the bachelor become part of your family!

I am sure the bachelor you are mentioning will never have an agreement. As one friend has already mentioned just disconnect the electricity & water.Hand over the key to the second party.Let the bachelor go legally if he needs.Which will put him in trouble first.

Just cut the electricity and water first. they will go automatically or let them suffer one way. How come you accommodate in partitined will three families and one batchelors within one compound? and, it is obvious now that the batchelors you rented the house are not decent to vacate the room when you wanted and relectant to pay your rental for february too.

Good luck man., anyway you made lot of money in between through this fantastic manipulation of mixing all cats and clown together in one compound and now the time

has to get it reconcile debit back of your faulplay of business that makes all Doha and the accommodations in a big problem for serisous good people too, coz you are one of the guy who is also promoting such kind of housing rental business causing always booming up the

realestate business. Money that comes from the sources without effort and given by someone who struggled to stay and survive with family doing real tasks are different., easy earned money go easily for treatment of Cancer, brain tumour or an stroke. Haraaam will never make things Halaaaaaaaaaaal. So, to make the life easy and peacefull, change yourself not involving with what you had been doing it before and start some noble work to live with diginity and honour instead of sucking the blood like tracula.

For Heaven's sake what is wrong with you people who are condemning this person. I remember when China was awarded the Olympics they promised to rehouse some 3 Million people, When Qatar got the Asian Games, I don't remember any similar action. The best that happened that some 2000 flats were made available by Barwa some 3 years after the wholesale demolitions in Rumaillah etc. Without people like this, who picked up the baton and made cheap housing available when no one else cared what would have happened in Qatar to these poor people? You don't know what profit he might have made, not as much as the building owner no doubt. Stop this reactionary behaviour and reply when u have something positive to say ONLY!

Your fault. Subleasing is illegal.

Your tenants should sue you.

as a matter of fact ur in trouble.......so if u want this trouble to move away ...u gotta play wid dem.....u have earned enough ....now's the time to spend some of it.....find a good accomodation for dem at a reasonable rate and pay the rent for the first month for them......this will surely work......wish u best of luck.......

Hard earned money stays with you even if you have to spend it,this would be for your gain.

Illegal money made has to go back one day in some other form from you.

So you enjoyed the good old days

now you enjoy the rest of your days with bachelors.

3 cheers to them

Real estate leaches like you have created this situation in Doha , that an average family cannot afford decent accomodation.

Your rent 3 years ago- 4000

The rent you collected from each party=3000-4000

Monthly Profit -around 10,000 QR(with free acco for

yourself).

Money you have made in 3 years = 3,60,000 QR.

SUFFER NOW!!!!!!

First of all do you have any agreement with the third parties (bachelors), if no agreement, their stay is illegal. If yes, with whom? if so what the clause sayes accordinly you can issue letter to them. Your commitment with the second party, is there any provision for sub-letting and partitioning mentioned in the agreement. All these elements to be consired.

just give the keys to the second party and move on. You have already made enough money isnt it? YOu dont want to part with the illegally earned money isnt it? Otherwise just pay up the rent and move off from there.

Solution is: in order not to get in trouble, do not do illegal things! Simple.
