Second: Dear "feellife" don't worry because this is the situation with all Arab but nobody announce it as you did however, try to socialize with people out of your work environment and may be from deferent social level this will kill any envy feeling.

Better dont ask questions that you dont want to hear the answer. I dont know why but I heard your complaint from another person while I was in Egypt. He was working for a company in USA and he was telling he never socialize with Egyptians when he is in Egypt. He just see his family and few friends, thats it. He was telling he doesnt want to socialize with any Egyptians in Egypt. Wasn't that weird?

obviously had a bad experience of late with a fellow CUNTRYmen but dont forget there is good and bad in every nationality and we should never been drawn into generalisations by race,creed or nationality. I personally am proud to say I NEVER discriminate and pride myself on treating every one fairly, I just HATE EVERYONE!!!

I'm not Egyptian put I have many Egyptian friend here & the first people which helped me in this country are Egyptian I want to take this opportunity to thank all of them
