Workers Compounds
Hello,
I am a teacher here in Qatar and my students have recently raised 6000QR to help labourers in Qatar. What I would like to do is have my students use this money to buy goods and deliver them themselves. I want this to be a meaningful opportunity for my students. My question is: Does anyone know of a labour camp/compound that could use items such as food, blankets, small appliances, etc...? A map or detailed directions would be much appreciated!

Contact the Indian, Sri Lankan, Phillipines & Nepalese embassies. Maybe others as well.
They have scores of needy cases on their books who have been ripped off in Qatar by greedy sponsors and middlemen.
don't just donate anywhere, make it count by giving to the worst cases.
There might be some companies, who might have stopped paying salaries for time being, look out for this type.
