i know this question has been asked before but i cant find the old posting. I recently got new passport and like to transfer the RP to new passport. Can i do it by myself from Garafa passport office or my company can do it? Does it cost anything.
It's easy. You or your company can do it. It costs 100 QR. Take your old and new passports and your ATM card!! You could get the form filled from the typing centres there. Costs 3 or 5 rials. I did it for my wife two weeks ago. Try to go early and you won't have to wait for more than 30 minutes... Hope it answers your question.

If it is same nationality it is simple. Your HR dept can do it in one day. or even if u keep both passports together. that also works.
if it is two different passports(different citizenship) than its is bit difficult. u need to get NOC from both embassies.
no need to transfer the rp to new passport.just present your old and new passport.
