Hi friends,
I am working here and need to bring my wife along with my 4 month old daughter.

Before 4 years she has incurred Pulmonary tuberculosis and was cleared by proper medication. But the TB leave a scar in her lungs. Shes now medically fit and dont have any diseases.

My question is this scar will be a problem for her to get family resident Permit?

If so any thing is there that I can do in advance to get medical approved?

Pls help me

thanks in advance

regards

I've encountered few cases wherein we deployed few staff who were medically fit from their country of origin but failed the medical here because of the SCAR issue (same thing that the illness has been totally cured years back). They were sent for remedical but after the same result, were right away repatriated without further questions. However, since your wife would be under husband/family visa not for WORK VISA, I am not quite sure if the same rule applies. Better check with the right authorities for certainty.

zoobi, just try her for the exam. but im telling you that some of the workers that i deal with before were repatriated to their home countries because of the scars in their lungs. however, the ministry might not be too strict with your baby as she is not here for work. so try.

Normally the scar will not be a problem if she recovered from TB completely. Dont worry. Gud Luck

Chest is the main organ to be examined in Qatar Medical. so make sure the disease is fully cured
