Where to go for a help?
Every year we have a routine medical check-up care of our company.I must say that having a yearly medical test can really monitor one's health.
I have a friend who recently went for a series of blood tests & liver biopsy,after 2 weeks of waiting,the result finally came in & he found out that he has HEPATITIS C,acccording to his doctor he got 70% of survival.
The Indian Doctor from (Hamad Hospital)told him that the medication will last for a year & a monthly shot & a regular taking of medicines will make him cure.
Upon hearing that,somewhat a feeling of ease came along,however,he is now facing much more difficulties,the financial matter,according to the Dr every shot will cost QR 1,200 & it will be done on a monthly basis.
I don't have enough monetary assistance to give to my friend that's why I decided to ask maybe there's a kind person who can teach us the right path.
Can anybody here in Qatar Living who can tell us where to find any oraganization or welfare who can help my friend to get discounts on his medications?
