Actually, brit, they have no fear of death. They only run because the 'boss' is telling them to run. Unexperienced animals stay where they are, until it's too late.
I beg to differ... All animals must also suffer from "fear of death".. Otherwise, why would the Wilderbeast run from the Lion ?

I like to think of fear as unknown variable (be it noise, situation etc) + context = fear. Once you turn the unknown to a known, most fears are gone...:)
