Which is the best exchange for getting highest rate for sending money to India in NRE account. If we have a QR account and NRE account in the same bank like HSBC , do we get better rate than thru exchange .
I am using EZRemit through City Exchange for transferring my money to my Bank Account in India and the transfer is done within 24 hours and I am getting the confirmation from my Bank for crediting my account. They will charge Qr. 15/- for each transfer. I have been doing it for the last one and half years with them. The exchange is giving guarantee for the transfer within 24 hours except on Sundays and Bank holidays in India and if they are playing with time and credit they will loose all their customers.
doha bank is giving online transfer facility and you can transfer it on the same day. Be cautious since many excanges gives little less price and keeps money for 2 or 3 days. Also keep your account in leading banks in india like HDFC, ICICI or SBI. Smaller banks in india also play the same game. They get money and credit after 3 or 4days(circulate for their business in between).
Going with HSBC is like a suicide. Coz they give worst exchange rate and transaction charge is highest in the world.
I advice to transfer by Money Exchange.please take a tour at time of transfer to visit two/three major money exchanges.so,you can judjge at time of transfer.Actual, Every Exchange has different rate for different day.If you have account in HDFC- best is QNB.IF you have account in STate bank if India, best is trust exchange.
You will get better rate, if you do e_transfer and you can save time too. If you have no such a/c yet, apply your bank(here and in india) for the same.
You will get a better rate from the Money Exchanges as Banks are charging bit higher rates even if you have an account. Try City Exchange in Souq Najda.
