Which Digital SLR Camera to buy?

I have shortlisted on some models from the Cannon, Nikon and Sony camps in that priority. I am looking for high optical zoom (at least 15x). Can anyone suggest or share their experience? My budget is upto QR 2,000.

the Panasonic Lumix got a very good review from PC World Magazine.

you can't get a DSLR for your budget. better opt for a point and shoot cause that definitely suits your budget.
