Where will you be sacrificing?

I'm thinking of sacrificing a Lamb/Mutton at the mawashi market, any other options? where will you be doing the holy ritual set by the prophet Ibrahim (pbuh)?

I smell racism in the air, some people can never be happy for their fellow Muslim humans. Sad.

interesting comments everyone, but question remains unanswered. What is mean't by country is the nation of Islam, wherever muslims are a majority, please no need to get into an argument about this. I do not need anyone to analyse this, i just need an answer to the question, otherwise, may Allah show you the path to your home.

Having a Qatari passport gives you the right to call it your country.

ye creeper..i am from pakistan, when i said our country, i meant to say islamic state, a muslim country, and me being a muslim, gives me some right to call this my country in that sense, jus like we say when people in palestine die, that the jews killed our people, im not palestenian, but i feel for my people, and i came here from a western country, and it feels good to be home, with my fellow muslims, with mosques every where, a place where i can hear the azan 5 times a day, see customs and traditions being followed. feels good...

we always sacrifice at home, its the most convinient, if u have a house with a front yard or back yard, just go to the market, pick up one of those phatans, they will do everything for you for a reasonably cheap price and will cut the meat to your requirements, as far as the above comment goes, your in our country, please dont try to make us change our customs and traditions,as much as you love animals, people eat em, and they do kill them some how, may that be infront of your eyes, by slitting their throat, or shooting them in the head, and as far as it being painful for the animal, there is a specific way its done, which is to cut the jugular vein and carotid artery first, which completely removes oxygen to and fromt he brain, thus shutting down the brain, which kills the link of pain within the brain, so the animal does not feel pain, this way also gets rid of the blood completely from the animal, which makes it safe(and helal) to eat, as there are studies which show that consumption of blood from animal meat is not a healthy thing for humans.

Please, if you are thinking about doing this yourself and you don't know how, Don't. The whole point is to prevent any stress or suffering and even though I am a vegetarian and also not Muslim, I have no issue with the formal rules surrounding this ritual if it is done properly. However, many people use a blunt knife, or cause the animal stress by treating it cruelly before killing it, or by stuffing it in the boot of their saloon car to take it home, this is not right in any culture. Halal is actually a very humane way of slaughtering an animal, if you don't follow it, can you say the meat is Halal?

I hope I have not overstepped the mark by saying this, I do not intend to offend anyone. I know this by talking to my Muslim friends, all of whom hold the welfare of the animal as the most important part of slaughter

I know it's religion, but, I see this as so barbaric in these modern times to still be making animal sacrifices.

When I lived in Kuwait I had a flat above my Kuwaiti landlord. I was sat on the balcony with several friends having dinner when the landlord came out of his house with a sheep and slit it's throat in his front yard. One of my friends puked over the railings and there was a river of blood running down the street as all the neighbours were doing likewise.
