I bought a copy of the Explore-Qatar Doha map about 2.5 years ago when it first came out. It's been useful but getting a bit dated so yesterday I bought a new copy with a yellow band around it announcing "2008 Edition!". (OK, it will be 2009 in a few weeks, but never mind).

I have to say I'm very disappointed. First of all there's a concealed sticker saying "new Doha map 2006" and secondly it's full of errors - roads marked as closed when they're open, supermarkets incorrectly labelled, British Embassy in the wrong place, Doha Club still standing.

My advice: if you want to update your old map, don't bother and if you're buying it for the first time, beware.
