Anyone know what's going on? Will there be fireworks or what? What time and where?

Or to look at it another way Gypsy, it means there is a job for you! If they all went round advertising things like we want them to perhaps there'd be no need for the likes of QH.

rami - what is Junket?

That sounds about par for the course round here rami. Why did they have to fly to Cairo? Do they not have recording studios here?

The Diwan flew some of Qatar's famous singers (Mansour Mohannadi, Fahad Kubaisi et al) over to Cairo to record a bunch of songs for a grand spectacle for the National Day.

Only problem is, even they don't know where or what the ceremony will be. They have been told it's a big secret and they will be told nearer the day.

So if those involved in the National Day celebrations don't know when or what it is.... heaven help the rest of us.

Getting confused here, cos there's an Eid in a week or so also isn't there ...

Yes we are. But when dealing with the chaos that is the National Culture, Arts and blah blah blah authority, even we are at a loss.
