my friends are suggesting me to visit luxor for eid holidays. i have no idea about the place. can some one please tell me what to expect in luxor, nd abt the whather in december in luxr.

Lots of incredible historic egyptian sites. Tombs, temples, etc, etc. Very impressive. Plus of course the Nile.
The downside is the disgusting hassle you will receive as a tourist. Constantly in your face trying to sell you sh!te. Don't go if you're short on patience!
