Any suggestions on staying overnight in Doha?

Hello people!

My parents are flying from Istanbul to Cape Town by Qatar Airways this coming weekend.Unfortunately, their connection flight is only leaving the following morning - and Qatar Airways is now charging people $100 per person for stayovers at the Airport Hotel (that's what they were told by the travel agency in Turkey). They aren't willing to pay that amount - as it is way too much.

I couldn't arrange any alternatives for them from here in South Africa and I don't know anybody in Qatar!

I'm aware I'm a bit late to arrange this!I still feel there's still a bit time.

I wouldn't like my parents to stay at the airport itself - it's not going to be comfortable for them on those seats; and they are also elder people.

So - I need some assistance guys!Is there any cheap accomodation around the airport? My parents wouldn't mind staying at backpacker like places, as long as it's decent and clean.Or - do you may be have any other suggestions?

Any sort of input will be much appreciated. You may send me a private message.

Thanks for your attention

All the hotels over here are very expensive, the prices have gone up alot recently... they have serviced appartments and 2 & 3 star hotels which would be around 350 Riyals per night, but not near the airport, but then again Doha is very small so it doesnt take very long to get to the airport from any place... Try Siraj furnished appartments...

I don't think there's any accommodation close to the airport.
