If water-powered cars were widely apprehended

...what will happen to all the oil rigs and companies around the world...specially the Middle East?

I think they've already invented the water-powered car. They were afraid to distribute it to the wider market because it will be a huge loss to one of the major assets of each of the big companies around the world...

More than that, brit, many buses of public transportation systems run on fuel cells in Germany.

How are you? Tomorrow morning 5 am Training and 9 am Qualifying in Shanghai!

Widely apprehended ???? Does not make sense..

As far as Hydrogen power is concerned, BMW have last year built a few dozen test model 7 series for trials..

I disagree with you, Jut. If the energy required to produce hydrogen is acquired with solar power (several models prove that it works perfectly) it won't matter how high the efficiency of the system is because the sun light is for free!

here's the BIG problem with hydrogen fuel cells. You get less energy out, that the energy required to generate the energy in the first place. *

The only way hydrogen power would ever be viable is if nuclear power was used to generate the energy for storage in a fuel cell, but thanks to the green lobby and misconceptions about nuclear power (i.e. chernobyl and 3 mile island) this will never happen.

*that and hydrogen is damn well dangerous stuff.

I just said cars.

Maybe they can shrink the coal a bit for the right size of a car engine.

Ha, ha, Shamiri. James Watt fan? But you're right. Steam engines worked on ships and trains.

Nooo people. Water powered engines work. You just need the oil/petrol/diesel/coal to turn the water to steam. Qatar will still love us :-)

Wait, have to run to the shop to buy more water, my computer is almost empty.

I also can't believe it at my first impression. I also need to know the full details of the process and mechanism...but it's there. They already invented it. They're just holding out the wide market.

Re: crystal clear

And yet water is expensive in here! Ha! Profit!

So, then it is crystal clear why they won't be appreciated here!

No, heero. I'm just wondering how a water-powered engine would work. A hydrogen fuel cell car is much easier to understand. But, since hydrogen is needed as fuel, it will be generated in plants which will use gas or oil as energy source. Unless they also switch to solar (silicon) energy there won't be much of a difference.

No, it's not the hydrogen-powered. They really did discovered the water-fueled cars!

What exactly do you mean, heero? Water-powered? or Hydrogen fuel cell powered?
