Visit Cyprus for long weekend.

G'day all ... I'm planning on meeting my partner in Cyprus for a long weekend in 6 weeks or so - she's flying out from the UK. I understand that I will need to fly to Dubai from Doha and thence to Cyprus. Does anyone have any advice on my leaving the country and then coming back intro Qatar?

Thanks.

Hi,

I was in Cyprus last week. I assume that you are flying in larnaka (Greek side). If you have plans to go to the North then ignore my answer since I do not know what the rules are.

To exit Qatar you need to have either and exit or a multi exit visa. Your company should provide you this. A wife sponsored by her husband does not need an exit permit.

To enter Cyprus, you probably do not need an entry visa, but even if you do, you can obtain one upon arrival.

As the previous person set, its not clear what the question is, so please provide more info for more specific answers.

The connection through bahrain is much better as long as you do not go with Cyprus Airways (they go back to Dubai and then Larnaka)

Not sure what the question is. Do you have a residency permit and is it valid for the time you will be gone and return? You will need an exit permit from your employer and if your RP is valid you just present your passport at immigration in Doha. You would be a transit passenger in Dubai and with a UK passport that's no issue.
