Question: transfer money back to home country

Every expat who work in Qatar of course would like to transfer their hard earn money back home.

What is the best way to transfer money?

At the moment I am in my home country, and use ATM card (with cirrus logo) to withraw money, how much they charge for internation ATM network withrawal?

I have been working for the past 2 months in Doha, and have a account with a local bank. I tried before to transfer money with internet online. But after waiting few weeks, the money still not credited into my home country's bank account yet.

I haven't ask the bank yet, because busy with work and the bank open only after 8:00pm during Ramadan month.
Will ask the bank about this problem after the holiday.
