Can anybody advise?

Can anybody advise whether I can get out of a tenancy agreement i have recently signed.
2 weeks after moving in, I realised I cannot cope with the window a/c in my flat. Moreover, i have noisy neighbours. These two things are having some negative effects on my routine life. My sleep pattern is changing.

Can I come out this agreement on medical grounds?

Many thanks for your replies!!!

Please don't like to get out of your flat. Talk to your landlord and see how you both can solve this situation without hassle.

Good luck.

Most agreements specify a notice period if you wish to terminate the agreement. Medical grounds could work but I don't think its worth the hassle. I would suggest that you speak to the land lord. You might not end up on the better end of the bargain but it would be better having to go through the health issue!! I would also suggest that you try your luck now coz the holy month could work in your favour.

That would be easy in Europe or the US. But here, you would have to find a lawyer who is willing and able to set a precedence. I can't imagine it will work. Did you issue post dated checks? If yes, cancel them at the bank. Tell the landlord you lost your job and have no money. He might believe that.
