wireless all over the house

Excuse my ignorance, but i need to know how to perform this, We have wireless internet in the house but it doesn't cover all the areas, the range is very short,
any one knows whats the best way to have wireless all over the house? do i have to ask q-tel to install another router? i know there are devices which should help in extending the signal we bought something from virgin from linksys but didn't work!
any ideas plz.

You can buy a Range Expander which will widen the range of your wireless network. Check the website of your wireless router manufacturer for compatible devices.
Different routers have different signal strengths. Go and buy one with a stronger signal. I have a Belkin F5D 9630-4 which has the strongest siganl in the market in Qatar right now - available from Sofitel.
I am not sure abt which kind of services are using at your home. If you are using normal Landline service, you can change that to QTEL MOZAIC connection. The wireless router which is providing by QTel with a out of charge covers approximately 50m. I hope that your villa not more than that much range.
If the problem exist yet, you should use a booster to boost the signals. Some of the Laptop's capacity to access signal is too low when it compared with branded one. So check this at first and make a turn to cnxn.
