just thought i d introduce myself

Hi all,

I am new here, just started QL today...

I have been working here for almost 1 month now, and doing quite well. im from malaysia.

the first day was tough for me, when i step out from the airport, immediately i felt the burning heat and with the humidity, it was really tough. but as soon as i settled down, i started to enjoy my stay minus the entertainment of course.

SO, anyone out there who would care to introduce themselves and is there any tips to share? for instance Ramadhan or how is the 'cold' season here?

my malaysian colleague hates the weather out here. Its too hot in the summer and too cold (for a malay)in the winter.

But she earns X times what she could earn in malaysia and drives a bmw (which i've been told is difficult to own in malaysia) - so who cares about the weather.

Get a good set of friends and you'll be fine in this part of the world.
