Buying Nissan Tida - Pls advise
I hv decided to buy a new Nissan Tida 1.6 seden. from showroom, but still double minded if i should go for it, i am actually looking for a mid range car for just 2 of us... any advise from the Tida user regarding this cars pros and con will help me in taking a right decision... Pls advise
tidda is a good car and value for money. i tried both corolla and tidda but found tidda more handy and very spacious. if u r very much bothered about resale value then go for corolla, otherwise tidda is the right choice. infact tidda also has resale value next to corolla. price difference is less than thousand only but tidda basic model comes with cd player, keyless entry, central lock & 1.6l engine in renault platform.
regarding service, al mana & aaa both are equally bad. nissan has an express service facility near al ahli hospital.
tidda service & parts expensive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10k service will cost u around 500qr & 20k service around 900qr without any parts(same as of honda charges)
better u check service charges upto 60k for any car u go for. otherwise what u save in cost will loose in service.
IT is a good car, for two person only Tida is a nice choice, if you look at price ranges, you can also check Honda City, which is also good for two person.
Add more budget you can go for Toyota corolla or Honda Civic.
nissan tida sedan is good why cant u try for corrola/nissan sunny
but tida too a good car
some how I don't like the shape and look of it, specially the side view mirrors which looks more like glued after managacturing the car.
better look for other models, look for some thing that looks like a complete car. corola & cammery are my fav., but only if your budget takes you to that. look into ford models, ford mondeo is my send fav...
i would say NO to Tida

If you can afford a Corolla it'll hold it's price better
good car but check Kia is more good and cheap
