1-You need to inform your Physician about your illness, of course.

2-They wont deport you right away but they will do further test on your blood for confirmation. And the Medical Committee will decide for you.

Another thing, it depends on your job category. If the nature of your job falls on the list mentioned above by SAADI703, I am affraid that you wil NOT passed the medical to obtained work visa in Qatar. But if it is some admin job or manegerial post, there will be no problem on your visa. No one can cheat the Medical at Med-Com in Qatar. You can cheat in your home country but NOT here. They will traced and find out and if further test results unfit, a worker will automatically be deported within a week.

Dear god people, will you please not cheat on the medical on top of everything???

Do you REALLY want to make other people sick? Are you THAt selfish????

Hi All,

I was enlightened reading your discussion here in forum. I appreciated a lot of your information especially to Ms. Apple (spread the fragrance of your goodness)whose always supporting this forum.

Anyway, it bothers me a lot and i believed you guys can help me.

I am re-active of HCV anti-bodies but my PCR result is negative. I was once infected of HCV.

So my question are:

1.)"Do i necessary to tell the physician that im post infected of HCV during medical examination?"

2.)If they found that my anti-bodies reactive, do the Qatar immigration will automatically send me home without second test/opinion (HCV-RNA)? If they will conduct second testing is it world-wide standard to have second test (HCV-RNA)?"

hope you can enlightened me more. looking your soonest reply.

warm regards,

fish_k

I am just confused and needs some enlightenment, is Hepatits B still being screened in Doha to be able to secure a working visa?

And if anyone can assist or help me out find a website of any government office in Doha Qatar on the medical requirements in securing working visa on this particular subject.

Hope you guys can give me some in sights, I have read all the conversations here and are really helpful.

Thanks...

If you work under category written below, you need to pass all these test: HIV test, Chest X-ray(PTB) test, Hepatitis A, B, & C and others.

1. Medical

2. Para-medical

3. Food Handlers workers

4. Primary School Teachers

If your job doesn't belong to these category, you ONLY need to pass HIV test & Chest X-Ray(Pulmonary Tubedculosis) exam.

I have seen two people going through the test sucessfully in this forum. I think rules are still the same.
