I totally understand Supernurse. I sure wouldn't want a fresh grad working on me here that hadn't proved herself in her own home country. I know in my profession we wouldn't take anyone less then 5 years experience. This is not a training ground, it is supposed to be for experienced personnel. In their home environments, they will be under supervision, but here, you are expected to be fully functional and ready to do the job. The probation period is for everyone, but is not a training period, as much as it is a proving period.
huff, I've explained this before, usually to work in the middle east one has to have a certain number of years pre experience, usually in their home country. When they have completed a couple of years on the job then they can apply here.....Qatari nurses would be a different thing entirely because this is their country.....
mmm, I am lucky enough to work in doha as a nurse and where I work it would be unheard of to employ a newly qualified nurse, we have to have 5 years for a senior RN and 2 years for an RN, wow, if Al Ahli are employing brand new qualified nurses I would question their standard of nursing care.....worrying....
my cousin just passed the board exam too and she's coming soon under father sponsorship.we will pass her cv to al ahli coz they're accepting nurses now and i know someone from there too.pass ur sister's cv in al ahli too or check the newspaper gulf times i just saw an ad this morning looking for RN nurses.hope this will help.
andysand, it doesn't usually work like that for non indigenous nurses coming here for work. They get prior experience wherever but usually to work here they expect 2 years prior experience.
submitt her cv in the hospital, they might hire her directly from your country as nurses are in demand in the country. or sponsor her from your company as a visitor then she cn apply a job. the co. who will hire her will transfer the visa from visit to work visa.

supernurse, i think the affilliation is good enough to start the job as long as you are already a registered nurse

which country is that from? They usually like a couple of years experience after qualifying first.
