FS, a money market account is an account that is very similar to holding cash in the sense that is treated as low risk but it does give you interest, usually a bit more than savings account. I think there should be some type of money market account in Qatar but I would have no idea how to go about opening one. You'd have to ask one of the investment guys here.
we have invested in India.....its giving good returns...in India we dont get good property for this money.
I want it here because I may need it after sometime when my business plans materializes .so i want to invest it here for couple of years with max. returns

lat year I bought 2 small plots back home for QR 36,000/- each today I am getting offer for QR 58,000/- each and once the area is fully developed (expected by year 2010) the value is expected to shoot by QR. 150,000/- each plot !!!
I will strongly suggest you invest in small plots in your Country :-)

Try the stock exchange and just hope for the best...You can even buy a couple of villas or apartments and rent it a higher price.

I'd put in a money market account until the market had stabilized a little bit then I'd invest in shares.
