The new old souq

I went there with friends & we sat at one of the restaurants..it was so pricey a small cup of tea costs 12riyals. Instead of having dinner, we settled with tea & fruit juice (20riyals). We were so tired to see the other restaurants, we just left.
Can anyone recommend a good restaurant in the souq with reasonable prices?
