Hello,

Grateful for any advice if it's available. I have a firm job offer and hope to relocate to Qatar soon with my family. Can anyone direct me to a link or advise on the situation regarding prescription anti depressants and also medication and treatment for ADHD - I am aware that Ritalin is a banned substance in the UAE.

I'm not interested in the rights/ wrongs or existence of this condition but just need to understand the medical and legal standpoint before bringing my family across.

Many medications are available here. Though I think not Retalin...or very restricted and only by prescription from HMC. However if you want you can send me a PM with the list of your meds & I call my pharmacy & ask re availability.
