Hey guys

Hows it going on this fine saturday afternoon lol.
I just had a quick question. I have just arrived in Doha, and will be on a family visa until such times I find a jobby.

However I have a UAE dubai driving license
and a UK driving license.

Do you know how long I can drive for on either of the licenses.
And then do you know how I can obtain a temporary license for the time I am here etc?

Hi,

You can only drive on your UK license for the first 7 days of arrival into Qatar, I dont know about the UAE one. Then you need to get a temporary license which is 150QAR, you need to go and do the eye test and take your docs with you and 2 passport photos, you may need a letter from a sponsor in arabic too, if a member of your family is already sponsored here, get them to do it for you. It will only be valid for the time of your visa, then you have to get them renewed. Hope this helps :)
