Can anyone recommend a company to ship personal belongings from the UK to Qatar, I'd like to bring some of my text books (which are damn heavy), and a few geeky things like DVDs.
I'm guessing a cargo crate would be the best way to go...
Franz I think their is a min. amount. I will get the name of the companies when my husband returns home. If you have just a few things then we are most likely leaving in august and could potentially hold a few items for you.

If you have 10 50x50 cm boxes which roughly weigh 200kgs it costs £300 if you collect it at customs. The price doubles to £600 if you plan on having them to take it through customs and deliver it to your new house in Qatar.
