since i've been up since 3 am...and its now 5:30 am...I"m going to go get ready for the long day ahead...Da...I get to drive my little sports car for 4 hours today..woohoo!! Now if I can just get the cops to not notice my speed!! Have to admit that every time I drive that stretch of road I think of you...not only that you fly like a bat outta heck, but the last time I drove that road, I hit that huge wolf and smashed up the front of my new car...wolf didn't think enjoy it much either!!!

Well budget's can work too....I'm supposed to be on one and am restraining myself in that respect...but...when you get over here, I plan on using all the money I've worked so hard to save!

Tell you what..will go eat Cajun food just for you today...I DO have a alcohol license but for some reason that one glass of champagne on the plane just tastes so much better than from the house bar...lol Kinda like eating a salad from a restaurant..same lettuce and tomatoes, but tastes much better when someone else does it!!

Life is beautiful !!!

Had my friend stop before we left Houston and had a GIANT margarita, shrimp with cheese and jalepenoes wrapped in bacon and grilled, TONS of hot sauce and chips...and barracho beans...was so full that I had a really tough time staying awake on the drive back home!!! lol

Yesterday I hit Sam's and bought a ton of stuff to bring back to Doha, but still have stuff on my list that I will keep gathering up for the rest of the month. Heck I might have to buy another suitcase just to haul everything back!! Bought a giant jar of dill pickles..you can't find good ones in Doha...now just have to figure out how to ship them back without breaking...lol

Start making a list of what you need...took me 2 months to do that cause I kept adding to it everytime I looked for something in the grocery stores and couldn't find it...plus i needed some really good hair products...hmm might have to ship some of that stuff back ahead of time!

Have a wonderful trip..do what I do...get on the plane, drink a glass of champagne or two and sleep...the flight attendants were laughing at me since I couldn't keep my eyes open long enough to get airborne!!

Hmmm, well I COULD bring you an absolutle gorgeous peacock since one has taken up residence in my yard. Still don't know where he came from..we live WAY the heck out in the country and he just showed up one morning and hasn't left since. He loves english muffins by the way and I've gotten him to eat out of my hand. Hmm..maybe I keep him here...will have to bring you something else!! OHHH...how about a mouse? Seems with the drought here, they are moving into my house. Son and I caught one the other night on a sticky board..then tried to figure what to do with it...needless to say, he's now in several itty bitty pieces ALL over the back field...gotta find a different way to dispose of them since its really quite a waste of shotgun shells.

Seriously tho...will work on something to bring back for you...until then, the weather here is lovely, no dust or sand...fairly mild for late June...but I DO miss all y'all in Doha!!
