Back to real estate, question to those who know and are kind people enough to share their local knowledge, what should be a good price for good quality 2-bed appartment? Now, I know that prices are all over the place. But if a person is willing to put some time and effort for a thorough search, what is a good deal? Cheers.

No where in Qatar you get this bargain

I haven't even arrived to Doha. Does anyone know if there is a new building release in the same compound? Or any 2-bed appartments of the similar quality for the similar price?

Molly - you should have called me when you were there. So confirmed I didn't exagarate anything there :)

I was out there today...all the flats are rented now (one company came in and took all that's left)...there are two villas left, we saw both. Very very nice. Nice swimming pools and gym as well. The manager told me he expected everything to be rented by the end of today and they receive at least 50 calls a day, mostly people looking for flats.

compond is only 1 1/2 months old. so no bugs/ crockroaches yet. Their magnificent garbage collection leave no room for the bugs.

Soon displaying of Shoes outside your apartment will be banned.

camila - They have 4BR villas also there. Rent QR 13,000 a month. Two months stay free as well.

camila - I am living there. They have about 20 apartments left. QR 7000 a month and you will get 1st two months stay free. This is the best bargain in Doha now. It is in Wakra less than 10 minutes drive from Doha International Airport

why pay QR 8000 a room? you can get fully furnished apratment in a compound for QR 7000 :)

the upstair of my villa is vacant and it includes a very, very big bedroom, a spacious sitting room, kichen and a very big bathroom. It is fully furnished ,ceramic flooring with saperate entrance, 24/7 internet and all lot. My house owner asked me to hire any of my frnd'z . He expects 6,500/-

I’m living at serviced apartment in Westbay; let’s say sharing one villa with others. The villa managed by British estate agent. Each room is big enough for one person / a couple and has own bathroom, only share kitchen. Most of residents are British.

There’s a watch man, he is clearing house and maintenance house.

Rent is, it depends on room size, smaller room start from QR6000, larger room start from QR8000 for a year contract. Rent includes electricity & water bill, land line (only local call), Internet connection, Cable TV.
