Wrong realsome. It is not the signs of end of the world. In fact it is the end of the earthians and start of the martians.

Recently there were lot of reports about UFO's. Who knows where and when they are landing?

I can only speak for Catholic christianity (I am not a great scholar of islam but I am learning) when I say the religious belief about the end of the world is on 2 levels. One is the actual end of the world - despite all the so called signs we can never predict with any certaity the time as only God knows this. 2 The end of the world as it relates to our own human existance. We can be sure that our existence will also come to an end although we will not know of the time or place of this - to this end the "end of the world" serves as a reminder of our own immortality and the importance to be ready for our maker when the time comes.

Having said all this - is this my belief? ;) well all I can say was the priests and religous teachers at school made sure we knew this regardless of our personal views.

Now a comment on religon in general. Well we all know Islam, Christianity and jewdaisim all come from the same root - and all believe in versions of the same god. All of these religons built on one another. Christianity was influenced somewhat by Jewish belief and the same with Islam. Indeed somewhere in the Quaran it states that the religons of Christianity and Jewdaisim must be respected.

However as with all religons (well most) they all believe they are the revealed absolute truth of God. Therefore while these three religons are very closely related they will at their heart remain in opposition to each other.

And there you have it folks - my drible for the day!

* Wealth will increase;

If the wealth is here...where the economists will go...its not only by prophet Muhammed but also from many people predicted about these...before prophet Muhammed

faith alone can save us, not religion, not any other people nor anything for dat matter. it's ur gateway to heaven i suppose.

the above is but a reminder, its for us to be reminded or not to accept it at all. but please dont put barriers

between religion and compare it...

wud it be best to say, keep ur faith, but open ur window of understanding?

nb: many hav died jst to proved a point on wat's better religion (same way as some people here are implying) and none come up to a definite conclusion, but only one thing... lost of lives.

for me, d above post is but a reminder, nothing more. kip it or scrap it, dats all up to u.

btw, thanks for the post.

When I was in Mexico I spoke to a guy who had Mayan ancestory, who said that despite the movies etc, (Apocolypto) the year 2012 was not actually the apocolyapse of the whole world, but rather the end of Mayan civilization and culture. Which is entirely believable given how few Mayans are still living a traditional way of life, it's quite possible that the last of real Mayan culture will no longer be practised after 2012.

To me the biblical apocolypses mean the same thing, it's not the end of the world, it's the end of religion (good riddance and don't let the door hit you in the As__ss on the way out.)

The only difference between Islam & christanity would be that the latter is 600 yrs older than the former and all texts very easily photocopied ......

What do u mean bu photocopied?? can you deny that urs has been changed?? Islam is the last religion whatever you do believe or not, but I do believe that you(SKDKAK) are ........? and need someone to grow you up.

If you do not believe, you could just ignore it and keep your idiot opinion for any other subject.

yes, time lines are all relative...what God has set as one day, to man, could be an eternity. Interesting to see how man can put his own rules to what God has done or will do.

Sandune...its really naive to think that one religion is the truth....but if you would like to think so, when I get to Heaven, I'll be quiet so that you won't know I'm up there also....

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.

The TRUTH is we only have ONE GOD, people only separated by different RELIGIONS.

yes i agree..as written in revelation. but we should not interpret word by word. camels and other things are just symbols of what will actually happen. the end might be near but only our God knows as the exact date.

Thanks for the posting..

Yes we can relate to these "happenings" and the end of the world is indeed nigh.

The scriptures, Bible, Torah and Quran mention these aspects. I am sure the hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists have similar.

They are meant to be "warnings" to us all to wake up and become better human beings.

One thing to remember is that "timelines" are relevant.

When we say, "these things point to the end of the world".. That end could still be millenia away.

not in the same words, but the signs to the end of the world have been very clerly put down in

Revelations and many of them are coming true. I meant that both books are pointing to the end of the world coming soon. Sorry for the confusion.
