Blackout in Mansoura

Click here for a high-res photo.

A weekend night may not have been the most convenient time for a blackout, but as the summer heat comes is rapidly approaching, probably better than during the day.

Anyone seriously affected by this?

in bin mahmoud area, the lights went off several times for 10-15 minutes. what was the cause?

You know summer's here when the power cuts start.

If everyone could just turn off 1 AC then a lot of these power cuts might be avoided.

I just plugged in my emergency lights just in case.

May your dreams take you travelling all through your life.

Or at least a time when you can find chickens in the supermarket?

Then when we arrived in Lulu, the lights went out there also.

There were emergency lights (run through a power generator) but there was no air conditioning.

So we just went home. So much for a Friday night.

There was a time in Qatar when a possible blackout was advertised in the newspaper way in advance
