Should women chase Married men??

desaim20
By desaim20

I had seen one forum in the lounge discussion about women who are attracted to married men older men, why????

we have the urban view from the metropolis what about the other viewpoints, how many hidden women are looking for father figures, this is middle east so the society is very closed and conservative thus parameters are bound to differ, but in the expat crowd I would be thrilled to know what goes on.

lol brit expat..

Desaim wanted a bit of insight into why women would do such a thing. And those were a few reasons that I could think of..

Of course you are right in that it never justifies the mistake. I don't know.. I think people make mistakes because they follow their desires. Or are just ignorant of the consequences of their actions. I doubt they do it to cause pain to any other person.

Of course, its sad that people have so little self control of their desires in the first place.

Sorry! We can come up with a thousand justifications, but it does not make it right..Remember the question is about the "expat crowd" and women chasing married men..

It means that if a woman nags her husband, he goes looking for someone else..Perhaps even a married woman :)

desaim..

It seems no body would like to admit the attraction towards married men. No committments just sex that she may not be having at home. Perhaps married men are more willing to wine and dine her. Buy her extra presents that her husband uses for the bills. Or he has a big one that he knows how to use and she has sacrificed her sex drive with her hubby who she knows is a great man. And the worst scenerio being that she has no choice but to stay with him due to cultural expectations but does not really love him.

I mean I don't want to say either people are bad. It could just be one of those things that help when times get rough. A relaxant medication that one needs to dose themselves up from time to time. Or to feel that quick nostalgia of love and passion that has become muted in time.

Of course, personally I believe control is in order. After all if you love and respect a person then we should be patient and ride out the rough times. And if one is so unhappy perhaps they should think of divorce and marry another as a lesser of two evils.

i was reading your post, in complete agreement with you.. untill the words:

"you have to blame who takes the indecent initiative and who accepts the indecent initiative"... you do not have to blame anyone. you cannot blame. It is human's nature:to chase something/somebody.. to look for something/ somebody.., specially when it comes to men's side. Polygamy is natural for man, you cannot blame him for the way GOD created him.

...Also the same thing with Alexa’s post. I agreed with everything she said except of the end: ”..to take what is not hers to have”…

Human being – man or woman - is not someone’s possession, he/she doesn’t belong to other person...

I hate when girls get involved in affair with the married man.. it IS disgusting..

But you also can say: why while you are employed you are still looking for the better job in case you are not 100% satisfied with your present job?? didn't you commit? or employer still keep looking for another employee to replace you in case he is not 100% satisfied with your job?.. didn't employer commit? yes, he did, but you don’t possess this position…you hold this position as long as employer wants you to hold it.. and you have to work hard to prove that you are the best for this position…

Same thing with the marriage. You cannot take it for grant. You cannot say about your husband:”once you committed, you belong to me, and therefore no replacement for me whatsoever”..

and again, I hate when girls get involved in affair with the married man.. it IS disgusting..

Why should a woman chase a married man, there are enough single men around. For a woman to go after a married man, she must be lacking something in her own life..

Married men become attractive bcoz they are trained by their wivies. They have more patience and understanding in life. The single girls should train one out just like others not taking short-cut to get one.

I don't believe those who say they found tru love out of their marriage. that can be only an impulsive attraction.

we are again discussing the good or bad about the whole thing, i saw the lounge discussion and wanted to know what is the opinion here in Doha, but it seems the question of WHY this happens will remain a mystery, we need to know the womens perception and the answer lies there.

an insight to the working of the woman's heart and mind is what we wanted to look for. all your comments somehow are correct this way or that way, but why it happens in a healthy love life and suddenly things go wrong, there was an interesting indian movie about a 23 year old lady falling in love with a 58 year old man. the ending is the girl goes back to her boy friend and the old man is shown as if he had seen a whiff of his young age. still many questions remained unanswered.Movies name is NISHABD. try to have a look at this movie.

This is not restricted to major cities or villages. The difference is the techniques and opportunities.

Yes Azi they should stay away from married men,but what im saying is that if a married man is approached by a woman for some extra marital affairs isnt the onus on him to refuse, since hes the one whos married and "committed"?

I agree totally Alexa..its totally disrespectful. However i find that women are the only ones always blamed in this type of situation, when society always justifies mens infidelity and again blames the woman, "oh she didnt give him enough S##, or shes too busy for me (raising his kids) etc etc..When the fact is that hes the one thats commited and should respect the marriage...If married men stopped accepting indecent proposals by the single woman(who chase married men) then there wouldnt be a problem..

I dont think it matters what the circumstance are, there are two type of men, loyal men and disloyal men. The "rats will have affairs right under their wives noses and their are those who are loyal regardless of what the circumstances are.

Some women will chase married men for whatever reason but unless the man wants to be chased and and entertains the idea she aint gonna get anywhere with him..

Some of the men(irregardless)that comes to Qatar for work are married. It's either their families comes after a few months later or these (MARRIED)MEN goes home every (let's say) 3 or 6 or 10 or 12 months. Aside from their work, they have free time on their hands and with nothing much to do here (Doha)except to go to the desert/dunes or bars/clubs...what's left there to do?

and this is not hypothetical as we happened to come across some guys who claim to be single...OR tell some crap (separated/getting a divorce0 which I call S.S.S.S (Same Sad Sob VStory) which UNFORTUNATELY gets them the girl....duuuhh

also the way of asking the question is wierd "SHOULD woman chase a married man"?...woman SHOULD NOT chase ANY man,not only a married one...

and why is that view of those who "come from metro cities" should be different from those "who come from towns and small cities"... where it's more likely that woman SHOULD chase a married man??? in metropolis or village?

Ok the answer to your question-NO

First of all women dont chase married men on purpose. I can say this is the truth at least 97% of the time. Becasue most of the time a woman chases a man only to get the man not to lose him. So if hes already married then whats the point in the chase?

Secondly there are married women who chase other men(married/unmarried) becasue they're bored or unhappy thats a total different issue. Its adultery anyway!

Why dont we turn this question around to why married men chase women? Why are they so unsatisfied?

Your question "Should women chase married men?" seems to indicate some sort of necessity or compulsion for women to chase married men.

Therefore, I'll have to answer your question with a question: "Should they?"

we come from metro cities but those who come from towns and small cities the situation is different, I am not asking the legality or sin or about wrong or right, what we are discussing is the why it happens to know the women's point of view whether it is a married woman or an unmarried woman, it is not chasing by men the skirts, donot misunderstand the forum question,it is the WHY it happens, if you are in QL has never heard or seen then the forum discussion is useless, the discussion should not be brought to this forum.

I have heard many, many stories about married men unaccompanied on overseas assignments. They chase after every skirt they see. God help 'em though when their wives find out!!

However, are there some women out there who don't care whether he is married or not? Are some just looking for a sugar daddy? I know some are probably fooled into believing a guy's lies. Women have good intuition...if your gut is telling you something isn't right about the guy you should listen to yourself. In the end the women are the ones who end up hurt. The "skirt" being used by the man and his wife back home.

that would be far from the morals and ethics from both sides ... I mean women chasing married men and vice versa ... just unacceptable as what you are doing is nothing but ruining a family.

You should have a good reasons for what are you doing like they are getting divorced and soon both would be walking two different ways ... but to do that for just doing that or knowing that this family got no issues?

Stay just out of this ...
