NEED YOUR OPINION

By one guy living ... •
hello everyone
I have got an offer from a reputable bank in Doha, your opinion would be very helpful...

accomodation 9,000 QR
transport 1,200 QR

I will be very happy to receive your advices...
Seems u geeting very low housing allowance, trasport allowance also low. Children education u dont need at this stage coz u dnt have kid yet...better bargain moreeeeeee..
No they give only cash.
on the contract it shows yearly increase of 3% on basic salary but they told me the increase is more than that depends on the the rate of inflation but how would I know if they wouldn't be giving me only 3% every year??
Anyways, you are married with no kids, sounds reasonable offer... just the transport allowance....will they give you car for your company??
"fear not the dead...but the ghost of your past"
Argh here we go another one who trigger happy posting. Ady.... did u read the post ???
Take it, It's a good deal. If u get
married ya will have a better package
For a Bachelor it's really good..
Never express yourself more clearly than you think.
hello one guy living ... me think QR 6000 for each kids are really in the low side. My son goes to Doha English Speaking School, at starting from Sept the fees go up QR8600 a term !!! (not a year), and school fees go up about 10 percents some time more a year.
I am not sure about negotiation with the company, but once you relocating to Qatar and you find it you can not save it would be too late to turn back.
Do consider and do the math again carefully.
Novita77 they refused to give a house. for the school they are offering 6,000 QR annualy for each kid up to 3 kids, but since I don't have kids yet...
do you think I could negociate the offer how companies in qatar when it comes to negociation??
if you want to live in a villa, you will have to pay at least QR 15.000 (so you have to fork out the rest of the housing expenses).
can you ask your future employer to just give you a villa (not allowance?).
are you planning to have a family while you are here? did you clarify with your employer about the school benefits?
Lazydude you seem really lazy to read well the post, again I'm not VP I'm assistant VP second beside this is not the same post, now i do have an offer that I'm looking for people that could give their opinion about. so if you don't have anything to add please be quite...

I don't know about banking grades, but sounds like you have years of experience?
The housing allowance seems low, so I assume the other figures are, too.
You're already in the Middle East, so you're familiar with bargaining. Don't take the first offer! Check other posts and make sure the package includes everything that others have mentioned. Be prepared to ask for more, but have a firm idea of what you'll settle for.
Good luck!
Check out other postings similar to this...i.e asking package ok etc and you'll find alot say get them to secure housing as its at a premium...or ask for more, its a risk market out here when it comes to housing
I may be blonde but I am wise
smile lots laugh more
go for it, u can save good money
Live and let live...
if u can tell me the bank name i could help u
our CEO's grade is 13 but he is getting may be 10 times of ur salary
