RELIGION won't save you from the evils of the world...it's your FAITH in HIM.

My 2 cents worth of view in this matter is: irregardless whether a person practices/follows Christianity, Islam or Judaism, the FACT that there is only ONE GOD that EVERYONE believes in...one should respect the other's beliefs as it is.

"MINE is BETTER than YOURS" mentality is kinda shallow for me as this creates disagreement.

... to the different sects of Islam! or Christianity! and not just a comparison of the different religions!

If people focused more on what they had in common wouldn't the world be a great place.

All religions teach tolerance, including Islam and it's Qu'ran.

Unfortunately, people just like to make out that what they believe is right and no-one else can be!

What does that tell us about you and your tolerence of others?

I know you think that the things you do and say are right, so I doubt you'll give what I just said any real thought! Shame really!

ITs Religion....

its a way of life, not life...use the teachings and live...

correct me if im wrong but , no religion tells u to look down on another...

there is no right religion and no wrong religion....

and realsome can put a sock in it...

there are people who practice religion wrongly no matter which one it is...

whether u consider the women in afghanistan that were opressed by the taliban, to the paedophile priests in america, to the jews in isreal...

all religion teaches u to be at peace with one another and how to live ur life...

my neighbors are muslims, christians, aethists and hindus..i remember we even had a Jew neighbor once (they have moved to Isreal) ..and so far IF we ever had a disagreement we have never used religion to backup any argument.....

Its all the same ... Yahweh, Lord, Allah...

REligion is preached by one man to another...

so there is a high chance of it being upto the persons own interpretation to record what he has understood..all men are different and all men make mistakes.

The Muslim, Jew , Christian scholars dont agree on everything printed.

and with what authority can u say that the Bible is polluted...what baloney....

and if the Christians belive in the Trinity ...so what...

does that make a Muslim pray any less...

and YEAH WHY should the Trinity be explained to anyone...

have u tried to explain why u have Sunni and Shia?

Try explaining which among them is right...They go on fighting among themselves...

If the Quran is so pure..then why the confusion????!!!

EXPLAIN THAT...

so the only difference I found in both the religions (Islam & Christianity) is that one believes Jesus (Esa) was the messenger of God sent by god to the womb of Marry (Marium) miraculously and others that he was a Son of God... is this the fact???

1st one being that Christians believe:

Judaism is a true religion, but with incomplete revelation. Islam is a false religion.

That's just plain hogwash....We respect other religions..we may not believe as you do, but I for one, do not think your religion is false.

2nd: Yahwah is a very old name for God, which most Christians don't use much any more...we have many more for Him: Our Father, God, and the list goes on and on...

3rd: Jesus didn't claim to be talking as God...he gave His word, as his son, to spread the belief. He was the SON of God...never claimed to BE God..and we don't think of Him as such...but in our beliefs, He is the SON of God.

4th: God role in salvation...I've never believed in predestination. A few protestant religions do..such as Presbyterians, but salvation comes from the life you lead and the deeds you do while on this Earth. Christians believe you need to ask God's forgiveness for any wrong doings...so where does predestination come in if you chose how you live you life???

You also stated that:

"true that means they are not sister religions since these people are not practising the original religion... and specially Christians what they are believing is almost atheism therefore, Islam & Christianity are not sisters."

Hmm...WHERE did you get that idea that Christians are believing is almost athesism???? Most Christians live the Word in mind, deed and thought. That would be like me saying that most Muslims with the life they lead, are almost atheists also...the only one who can judge who is a good and religious person is God Himself...so are you putting yourself in the same level with Him???

Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.

It seems the discussions are getting heated up. Well let me give you my version.....

Religion is religion. Like a language. Some speak french, others English and others Chineese and so on. They are different languages, but they are still languages. Correct?

A religion is a religion. Montheism means that we believe in ONE GOD.

God has sent many messengers to us. To let us know what we should do and what we should not do. The first message was the Tables, which was a very limited edition. It was like the first manuals that accompanied our TVs in the 60's. However if you look at the manuals we get with our TV now you can see a big difference in size and contents. That is basically what God has done with the Quran.

God noticed that the messages that were sent thru Abraham, Moses, Jesus and all the other Prophets, some better know than others and there were MANY more, were being changed. This was either done bythe people who relayed the message had forgotten an essential part, misunderstood the main issues or because it suited the rulers/church of that time. Also do not forget the old beliefs and/or customs of the countries, the strong hold the church/temple had over the people. All this along with the limited "instructions/guidance" from the messengers made God send us the last prophet, Mohammed PBUH. Mohammed then, upon instruction from the Angel Gabriel/ Jebriel, had the whole of the message written down into which is called the Book/Quran. One of the stipulations is that every Quran should have the original text in it so that no word/meaning can be changed.

If you read the Quran you will learn a lot about the 3 religions of the "BOOK". Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

I am an ex Christian and must say I learned more about Christianity in the Quran than I had done previously eventhough I spent many years in convent schools.

But because the Quran is such a beautiful book, with so much wisdom, so much good advice and so much information I, after reading it immediately decided to become a muslim.

So again to repeat my message, the 3 religions of the "book" are, or should be the same. But along the way the message has had it's wires crossed.

Christianity..3 in 1? confusing as you say..yes it is but this one of the mysteries. as Christian i believe it by faith. these religions have differences but we all believe in one God. and there is no wrong religion. we just have to respect it and focus what we believe that is close to purity.

I think I've discovered the secret of life - you just hang around until you get used to it.  ~Charles Schulz

Well, the answer to all the controversies lies in the last column of the sheet…

Islam believes in Christianity because it’s a revised part of the same religion and Christianity does not believe in Islam because they are not changed from the path they have been following before Islam…

Now the point is to follow a religion or listen to your mind…

I must say it in Abraham Lincoln’s words…

When I do good, I feel good and When I do bad, I feel bad and that is my religion…

So my advise to you all is to listen to your mind your heart and your soul, do what is favorable for humanity … your good and bad deeds will be counted coz Hell and heaven is mentioned in both the religions..

“Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men.”

Which raises the big question in my mind. If Islam was necessary because of the corruptions of the earlier monotheistic religions, then wouldn't the final monotheistic religion, B'hai be the ultimate word to correct the earlier corruptions of Islam, Christianity, and Judaism?

It's like this, an analogy:

My bike is made up of many parts - frame, handlebars, wheels, chain etc

let's say it has 20 parts - I still have 1 bike not 20 bikes.

And I can't ride my bike to the shop with only the frame.

So christians believe in ONE god not 3 different gods making up one god. god is god and he/she/it is one, but is omnipotent ie can be everywhere at the same time.

(of course I don't believe that for one moment but that's a different topic)

Hope that clears that up.

Alexa there is nothing more important then to abide the laws defined by God and the world is already chaos now because people have established false laws by rejecting the call of God.

Seconadly, yes of course i believe mine is correct and i say this because i read the words of God everyday and for me the path forward is clear.

The words of human beings are clear and its meaningless to say i believe one God while not reflecting on the laws he defined. this is what is broken the western society.

I was in general conversation with a muslim colleague (though she prays etc she described herself as not overly religious) today and she asked me if I had been to the new church?

I said "I never go to church, I'm not a christian."

She then asked " but you believe in god, right?"

I replied "No I don't"

Her reply was really strange, she said " oh so you are free from all that"

Strange that she should choose the word 'free', don't you think?
