NOC for people employed in Qatar?

I've been told that if you are employed in Qatar you do not need an NOC to transfer to a new company? It doesn't sound correct to me, but can anyone confirm it either way?

Many thanks

What if the company you are leaving is ceasing to trade/liquidating do you still need NOC?

YES, let me clarify, I meant employed here as in "local" contract, not "overseas" contract. I have transferred once from my original sponsor, but the second sponsor is now being difficult about it.

Thanks

yup i know. i understand i got loads of friends wanting this law to happen.

lets just hope and pray that it wont be forever. i understand that this law is unfair to employees but what to do yani?..

thats why, keep the faith might happen someday, who knows it will be this year, yeah?!

feel pitty on those people want to find a greener pasture like my fellow same country. they are skills and experienced and ggod at what they are doing but theýve been tied up with their greedy employeers.

Blunderbuss, as of the moment it requires NOC to be able to transfer a visa in new spondor. but hopefully not for long and definitely not forever.

u mean u were employed locally??!!

If yes, u don't need the NOC from ur present sponsor, u will have to get it from ur original sponsor -the first one who brought u here-; The NOC will be valid only for a short period of time (not sure how long) & u have to find a new employer and transfer ur sponsorship within this period.
