ALERT: LOST DOG

CALLY IS LOST!

Cally is a pure bred German Shepherd that QAWS rescued in August last year.  Cally was very badly abused when we found her, and it took months to get her back to health and get her confidence back.

She was adopted by a wonderful family in November, who absolutely adore her.

On Friday, the whole family went to Inland Sea for the day and Cally was playing on the beach.  She then disappeared from sight and hasn't been seen since.

If anyone has seen Cally, please could you contact:

Norair  Bogharian on 500-6430 or email us at www.qatarpets.org

Sorry to hear about Cally. I do understand what the family must be going through as we have a beloved German shepherd ourselves and would be besides ourselves if something were to happen to him.

I have recently been led to believe that many pet shop owners steal dogs that stray outside and sell them off at their shops. These ppl apparently try to disguise the animal and treat them harshly.

I would suggest making the rounds around Doha and visiting these pet shops. If they get a hint that the dog is recognised they will try to move the animal ...so becareful.

This has happenend to another family in doha who haw just recently found their beloved dog at a pet shop in Qatar after months of it having been missing.

Unfortunately when posts like this are added, it seems to always bring out two kinds of people....

Those full of compassion, and those that can only add idiotic comments to the mix.....

Thanks to those who sent their wishes.... will forward them on to the owners....

Just to bump this up on top again..................

Johny that's not funny. :(

Cally went through so much last time when she was rescued. Maybe I should post the before and after pictures so people like Johny can understand. She was so badly abused that we had to shave her hair off to assess the true amount of damage; and oh boy she was full of cuts and wounds. It took a very long time for Cally to trust humans again after the abuse she endured. Now she is lost, or stolen; and we are all besides ourselves with worry.

So this is really no time for jokes. Lets just please try and pull together and network to see if Cally can be found. She deserves it after everything she went through.

Please if anyone has seen Cally, contact us on [email protected]

Blessings

Hi Norain,

I hope that you find your dog, Cally.  Someone will have seen her.  Have you put up posters about her at the shopping centres and schools? Attach a photo and your phone number. Perhaps the people who have found her do not have access to Qatar Living.

We have been extremely lucky in finding our dog who had been missing for 2 days. People do care, so I believe you will get your dog back.  Let us know.

thats what worries us.  They did go back for two days and look for her.  We can only think she might have been picked up by someone.  In that case, I hope that we get her back soon.
