I have been offered a Nissan Ultima as my company car when I arrive but I can't find any info on that model of car.

We don't have them here in the UK.

So can anyone offer any information on them please?

Thanks in advance.

The FJ aint so bad, but..

visibility issues

wavey on road

no ashtray

and as much as they say its the rebirth of an old FJ 40 model, i still think its a hummer wanna be.

(personal opinion)

"Make a difference or make way"

FJ cruiser from Toyota seemed pretty good.

I wouldnt have high hopes if your thinking about the x trail.

not much of a car, as it is a box with rolling wheels.

(no offence all u xtrail lovers/if any)

the new ultima aint so bad for easy cruising.

off roading is sweet but with a whole different category

well i was planning on an x trail but according to the nissan salesmen it cannot be taken offroad into the desert, so i preferred the altima, more comfortable!

on the otherhand X_terra is something else! beautiful offroad fun.

Our Nissan Altima used to 'bottom out' on many of the speed bumps around Qatar. I still hear the grinding, scraping noise in my sleep and wake in cold sweats. I'm so glad we don't have it any more.

Thanks People,

Baring in mind I will be in Qatar, would I be better off with the Nissan X-trail with its 4 wheel drive / off road abilities?

another thing, the new shape is awesome, added features like cruisecontrol etc make it really worth it.

Nissan Altima.....is a better car than Camry since the 2007 model.

Its body is strong too, I saw an Altima being banged from behind by a car at a signal and not a dent on the Altima!

i have been driving an altima for the past one and a half years and have had no trouble with it. the battery failed two weeks back but it was covered in the insurance and i got it changed in two hours. Nissans service  is very good and work  gets done really fast. go for it!

Nissan Altima, a good car, since entering the market in 2004, has been a runaway success. I suggest you to go for it.

Thanks Ratso.

Thats Salax85,

You have a very flamboyant way of speaking, love it BTW.

I'm going to ask for a Nissan X-Trail, but I think I will just get what I am given.

there is no ultima, it is altima....

somebody misspelled it...

it is a nice family car competing with toyota camry and honda accord... the friends who have it are happy with it..

enjoy...

Thanks for the info.

Silly question, is the Ultima and the Altima the same car?
