First Ever Monthly Book Auction

Okay, so we've stabilized at work staff-wise, so my weekends are finally freed up (I think...). That and I'm not intending on going diving just now lest I turn into a nama-cicle.
So, who's up for the First Ever Book Auction next weekend? I'm thinking February 1st, as there's a slight chance I might end up at the office on the 2nd.
Venues. How about... The One cafe at Villaggio? It's got good coffee and basic foods, it's got nice seating and ambiance, it's got good parking, and it's in close proximity to Virgin, so people can wander to fantasize about future purchases. Also, if you're like me, you can do food shopping at Carrefour while you're there.
I do believe Villaggio opens up at 2 on Fridays, but I will verify this for sure. So as to get good parking, how about at 2.30, then?
Please bring:
-Friends/enemies/family/lovers-- this is informal and should be fun.
-The book you're currently reading.
-Any books you'd like to donate to the book auction.
-One riyal banknotes/those dirham coins in your changetray to buy new used books.
-Feedback on a charity whose donation box we can dump the proceeds in afterwards.
Please PM me if this time/venue suits you, or suggest an alternative. (That way I don't organize something and have no one turn up)
With positive feedback, I will post that this is an official 'go' on Sunday.
Just... anything. Anything that a person would want to throw on the pile. Thing like medical textbooks probably wouldn't sell so well, but fiction would. You know how it is.
Donations are cool, but better yet come along and grace us with your company/increase the bidding field (^^).
