sushi/sashimi?

Anyone able to recommend a good sushi/sashimi restaurant? Don't need teppanyaki or noodles, just raw fish that won't kill me. Ramada and Chopsticks are waaaay too expensive for me. Duomo Arigato!

I thought the sushi at La Cigale was so so...too stale for my taste. However, the ambiance is great. The best sushi in town for me would have to be either Moon Palace ( Mirqab St.) or Neo's (Salwa Rd. next to Layali), the latter is a bit on the expensive side though.

I second Genesis, I have heard great things from everyone who has tried Le Central at La Cigale. The hotel is on C-Ring across from all the restaurants in case you did not know.

Konnichiwa...

if you really want good Japanese food with a convenient price... you could go to Moon Place (Korean Resturant) at Nasir Street. iHave tied sashimi there, and it was as good as Ramada's Japanese Resturant "Sakura".

I dont remember if I saw Sashimi at Korean Gardens Resturant (opposite to apple bees resturant" but Man they have some really good Korean food.

threfore... I advice these two if you are looking for a convienent price and good quality.

Yeah, unfortunately, supermarkets here don't do takeaway...

You might try Villaggio for makizushi. In the food court area, there is a noodle shop which has a display case of various makizushi. I haven't tried it yet, so can't attest to the quality. I don't believe they had sashimi, but they did do a crab sushi. The price isn't so terrible either.
