Is it true that the qatar government is going to ban all vehicles those are older than year 2000? Some rumours are going on saying they are going to stop issuing istamara for vehicles older than yr 2000. If somebody knows real story about this please provide me with details, thanks in advance.
There is a clause (Clause 2 of Article 8) in the new traffic law which specifies that vehicles older than 15 years are not to be registered, but the rule would be kept in abeyance until 2009.
