QP WORK PERMIT
Hi All,
I have been waiting for Work permit to be issued by Qatari Gov. so that I may work for QP. This has so far taken 13 weeks (since late August), the question is when should I wait or apply for other jobs outside the country.
I should mention that I am British Passport holder and I have been informed that there is possibility that I might not be awarded a Resident permit.
I would appreciate all that have relevant thoughts on this matter.
Against my better judgement, I very much would like to leave my current job and take a chance on visa processed when I arrive. What should I do?

Thanks for your replies, I have been in constant contact with QP via telephone but I do not want to appear desperate!
However, they do not respond to my e-mails and once I call they say: “Sorry your visa is not issued, yet"

why dont you contact QP HR?. You can ask your concern with them. They may able to tell you, what is the problem or status. Dont worry. All head fate.
