hello everyone! peace be upon you all:-)

i've got questions:

1) where should we go so that we can have souvenir pictures with a real camel?

2) is there a studio here in doha where we can have souvenirs photo just like in Saudi wehre we can wear Qatari's clothes?

3.) what could be best souvenir items of Qatar?

any help would be appreciated...

There are baby camels here in Souq Wagef where I am right now. Or, are they really camels? Not sure, they look like one. Children ride them for a fee. :) The place is at the back of Souq Ahmad. There are lots of souvenir shops here, too.

@supersonic, alot of foreigners ask that.

By all means it's alright. It's not religious clothes, it traditional :)

It's like someone wearing a Yukata in Japan.

In fact, if I saw a foreigner wearing a thobe, I'd really feel good inside that they liked my culture ^_^

why not buy a thobe, they're not expensive and even if you tailored it, it'd take a day max. That's the ultimate souvenir :D

As for taking pics with camels, I have no idea.
