And so it returns to what it was?.... QP, but not offices I would hope, back to housing and a school. I understand that the site of the ex Falcon Club wasn't even used.

The Minister never wanted the club to exist.

Its going to be reconstructed into a Disneyland...with all the Joy-rides...at least the streets will be much safer.

I wouldnt be a least bit suprised if they demolished the whole thing (after all it was just for 15 days use) like a porta-cabin & sell off in Junk. & Give it to QP to reconstruct some Oil & Gas offices.

If they can keep it empty for 1 yr that too is a possibility.

was correct in what she said. It was also to house some students as the HMC was supposed to become a teaching hospital.

Speculation will go on and on, some offices are being moved out to the area and that sometime this month or next (first hand information).

Not sure about the furniture but kitchen will be installed.

The flats were initially constructed and furnished to house the asian games athletes, afterwhich will be handed-over to HMC for their staff accommodation, both married and single. Apart from the kitchen units to be installed (or are probably installed now), I heard that furnitures will also be replaced.

That its all going to be made into a gigantic Ant Farm. I know its hard to believe but just imagine how many ants you could get in there!! Apparantly the Ants are ok with it because they dont require kitchens but they do insist on a laundry service. Mad innit!!

Yes most of the accommodation was made without kitchens this is why the will use a great part for offices.

Staff accomodation does not have KITCHEN in each flat ... i believe this is where the whole problem lies

I would rather have one rose and a kind word from a friend while I'm here

Than a whole truck load when I'm gone

HMC badly needs offices so they will outsource some offices over there. Appart from that they drastically need staff accommodation to so they will utilise the buildings.

I think they will demolish it :)... better than giving to people & then rent getting less

Not only this is empty, a lot of complexes & towers & still rent so high

That may be, but I know for a fact that some offices are moving there it is as clear as the writing on the wall. They are HMC staff.

Hamad will move offices to a part of the village.

i've heard that it's for Hamad Hospital staff.

If you're looking for a problem, you're probably gonna find one.
